Field and 'The Bun House Bandits' have organised monthly exhibitions at the Bun House since October 2008 showing sixteen artists so far. These have ranged from the first screening of local artist Mark McGowan’s ‘This is Not a Protest’, to the first solo shows from South-East London based artists Jesse Wine, Karolina Dudek, Michael J Davis and Matt Day. In 2009 we commissioned a new site-specific installation from Glaswegian artistic duo littlewhitehead as part of Mobile-Conference, a Tate Triennial fringe event, also giving them their first solo show.

Invited artists are offered a short term residency with Field allowing them to make experimental new work that truly engages with the pub’s location and integrates these artists with a local pub community from varied backgrounds. The Bun House is an integral part of a vibrant arts scene developing in Peckham, bringing the area to the attention of a wider audience in London.

The Bun House website continues to promote this programme, raising the profile of the artists
supported by Field.
